Blinky — Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Blinky ("the App") handles your information. The App is developed and maintained by LUCHOGAX ("I", "me", or "the developer"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
The goal of Blinky is to keep data collection minimal and focused on helping you build healthier screen habits. This policy is written in clear language so you can quickly understand what happens with your data.
1. Information the App Stores Locally
Blinky is primarily a local, on-device utility. Your preferences, break schedules, reminder settings, and related data are stored on your device's storage and are not automatically uploaded to servers operated by me.
This means that your settings generally stay on your device unless you choose to back them up, export them, or otherwise share them using features provided by iOS (for example, iCloud backups or device migration).
2. Analytics and Crash Reporting
The App may use platform-provided or third-party analytics and crash reporting tools (such as Apple's built-in diagnostics) to understand stability, performance, and general usage patterns.
These tools typically collect technical information such as device model, operating system version, anonymous identifiers, app version, approximate time of use, and crash logs. They are not intended to capture detailed personal journals or identity beyond what the platform provides for diagnostics.
This information is used solely to improve the App's reliability and user experience and is handled in accordance with the respective platform's privacy rules (for example, Apple's privacy policies for diagnostics and analytics).
3. No Advertising Trackers
Blinky does not include third-party advertising SDKs or ad networks that track you across other apps or websites. The App is focused on wellness reminders, not ad-based monetization.
4. In-App Purchases and Payments
If the App offers paid features or in-app purchases, all payments are processed by Apple via the App Store. I do not receive or store your full payment details (such as credit card numbers). I may receive information from Apple that a purchase or refund occurred, which is used only to unlock features and manage your access.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is not specifically targeted at children, but it is also not designed to collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information through the App, you can contact me to request deletion of any such data that may be stored outside of Apple's systems.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Because Blinky stores your preferences and settings locally, you generally control them directly: you can change options, reset the App, or uninstall it at any time, which removes the local data from your device (excluding backups managed by Apple, such as iCloud).
If analytics or diagnostics are enabled at the system level, you may also have options in your iOS settings to limit or disable sharing diagnostics with developers. Please refer to Apple's documentation for how to manage those preferences.
7. Data Security
I take reasonable steps, within the scope of an indie app, to protect any information that may be processed through analytics or crash tools. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
You can help protect your data by keeping your device's operating system up to date and using device-level security features like passcodes or biometric locks.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or data practices. When updates are made, a revised version will be published within the App or on an associated website.
If changes are material, I will make a reasonable effort to highlight them (for example, via release notes or an in-app notice). Your continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
