Simply Patterns — Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Simply Patterns iOS application ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
These terms are written in plain language to make them easy to understand and are not intended to replace any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your country or region.
1. License
You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to download, install, and use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms and these Terms of Use.
You may not copy, modify, redistribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.
2. User Content
Any musical patterns, sequences, audio, or other creative work you make with the App remain your property. Simply Patterns does not claim ownership over the content you create.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any sounds, samples, or material you incorporate are used in accordance with applicable licenses and rights. You agree not to use the App to create or distribute content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringing.
3. Data & Privacy
The App is primarily designed to store your patterns and settings locally on your device. Unless explicitly stated in the App Store listing, your musical data is not transmitted to external servers operated by me.
If analytics and crash reporting are enabled (for example, through Apple or third-party services), they are used only to understand app performance and improve stability. These may include anonymized technical information such as device model, OS version, and general usage patterns, not your musical content.

4. No Warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. I do not warrant that the App will be free from defects, interruptions, security vulnerabilities, or other issues.
From time to time, the App may be updated, changed, or temporarily unavailable (for example, due to maintenance or platform-related issues). I am not obligated to provide ongoing updates or support, but may do so at my discretion.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or device malfunction.
In any case, my total aggregate liability arising from or relating to the App will be limited to the amount you paid (if any) to purchase the App from the App Store.
6. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the App, legal requirements, or distribution platforms. When changes are made, an updated version of these terms will be published within the App or on an associated website.
Continued use of the App after such updates are made available will constitute your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you should stop using and uninstall the App.
